Differences Magazine, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is an engaging online magazine catering to teens and young adults from ages 14 to 22. Differences Magazine is committed to become an informative, yet fun media outlet for today's teen to discuss nearly all areas of their day-to-day lives. Our magazine will be a resource for teens and young adults to learn, grow, develop, and interact.
We will not only focus on current fashion trends and celebrity entertainment news, but also discuss real life issues that transcend everyday topics. Differences will provide teen-friendly resources and information on higher education, finances, healthy living, global awareness and more.
As a way to ensure reader involvement and relevant, intriguing content, Difference’s Magazine has developed the Teen Advisory Team (T.A.T.). As part of the T.A.T. teens and young adults alike will have the opportunity to provide feedback, ideas, and assist with the content of our magazine. Key members of the T.A.T will have the chance to help organize any events conducted by Differences Magazine. The advisory team will give teens and young adults the ability to gain knowledge in production and operational tasks required to run a media company, as well as acquire leadership skills. Being a part of this team will also teach team building skills and the ability to develop creative and informative content for their peers.
Our goal is to become a national and international media outlet that can change the lives of teens and young adults for the positive. As the founder of Differences Magazine, I am thrilled, inspired, and thoroughly passionate about this magazine and what it will be and can be for today's youth. I am happy to embark on this adventure and enthusiastic for the future of Differences Magazine’s readers and supporters.
