Though they may not be famous, yet, their songs are surely ones to dance and sing along to. Some of their slower paced songs like "Catching Angels" are also catchy, but focus more on the lyrics than the catchy music.
All of SMI's songs contain lyrics that are relatable and actually have a meaning, which I love. They're not creating songs just to try to become famous; they create songs as a means of expression.
The members of Sing Me Insomnia consist of two brothers, Jared and Marshall Cunningham, Wes Beale, and Jordan DePriest.
Since the band formed, they have released two EPs and have created create a large fan base in their hometown and surrounding area thanks to their great music, performances, and opening up for one of the biggest bands to come out of the area lately, The Downtown Fiction, who are also close friends of the band. Hopefully their national, and worldwide, fan base will continue to grow thanks to the wonderful invention, the internet.
I've seen them live in concert twice, about two years apart from each other. Their music, as well as their stage presence, had matured and grown to new heights. I was blown away by how happy they seemed to be performing, completely in their comfort zone on the stage.
The future is unclear for Sing Me Insomnia, but it's sure to be filled with success down the road.
All four members have a so-called "day job", including college. Even with their hectic schedules, Sing Me Insomnia is proving that you can still fulfill your dreams and have some fun at the same time.
Who wouldn't instantly fall in love with these four guys? Seriously, talent and good looks? What could be better?
